I participated in the R. I. P. (hosted at Stainless Steel Droppings) Challenge last year and read spent two months discovering some of the greatest authors. The point of the R.I.P Challenge is to enjoy books that could be classified as: Mystery, Suspense, Thriller, Dark Fantasy, Gothic, Horror, Supernatural. R.I.P. VII runs from September 1st through October 31st.
I am signing up for Peril the First, which means reading four books of R.I.P. literature and am also taking part in Peril of the Group Read. I might add a few Perils of the Short Story!
I’ll update and link the reviews here along the way:
Peril the First:
Peril of the Short Story:
1. The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters: This readalong is hosted at The Estella Society. You can sign up for it right here.
I haven’t planned what I’m going to read, my only goal is to to try new authors!
Happy Reading!
What an awesome thing to do as fall begins! I think I'd like to do the second group read, as I have Neil Gaiman's "The Graveyard Book", but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I can skim through my 1001 Books To Read Before You Die list and see if any could fall under the R.I.P. category. Perhaps I can join, as well! Looking forward to reading your posts 🙂

Yay! I love RIP so so much, and I'm doing that group read too! I think I'm just going to do Peril the First other than that, but, like, with more than 4 books. As in, as many over 4 as I can possibly read! So excited!
