Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted at the Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is:
Top Ten Books I Wish I Could Read Again For the First time
(I am going to keep this list simple. These are, in no particular order, some of my favourite books ever; that were either my firsts by that author, or my firsts in that genre, or I read them in just a couple of hours and was hooked from the first word. I still clearly remember the first time I read these books and I wish I could re-live it.)
1. Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling
2. The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
3. Misery by Stephen King
4. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
5. The Chronicles of Chrestomanci by Diana Wynne Jones
6. Discworld series by Terry Pratchett
7. If on a Winter’s Night a Traveller by Italo Calvino
8. Dracula by Bram Stoker
10. Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman

Great picks! I've heard of all of them but I've only read Harry Potter and Dracula. I own Shadow of the Wind and I really need to get around to reading it.
Also your url is awesome! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by In Libris Veritas

I also have HP on my list. Besides Misery, I don't think I've heard of any of your other choices. I'll need to update my tbr list after these Top Tens! Here's mine for the week.

I'm reading Dracula for the first time, and I still feel like I know everything that's going to go down anyway… hopefully I'll prove myself wrong! Also, YES to Harry Potter 🙂

Misery is a good one. Reading Stephen King always takes me back to summers when I was in high school. I'd love to re-create that feeling of staying up half night with a deliciously disturbing story knowing I don't have to go to work in the morning. 😉

Good list. There are a bunch on here I haven't read. Is Misery your favorite Stephen King?
