My first time at Book Blogger Hop – It is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy for Books. The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don’t have time to Hop today, you can join the fun later! This is a weekly event! And stop back throughout the weekend to see all the new blogs that are added!
This week’s question:
“If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be from and what would that place be?”
“If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be from and what would that place be?”
Hogsmeade Village – Harry Potter!
I had a hard time choosing between the Discworld and the Wizarding world – but there’s hardly anything more tempting than Honeydukes.
I’d love to visit and meet everyone in Hogsmeade (except Madam Pudifoot’s of course), and you can always just sneak into Hogwarts from there.
I would love to fall down the Rabbit Hole in Alice of Wonderland.

Haha I'd definitely give Madam Pudifoot's a miss *cringes in horror* . I would sell my left leg to go crazy in Honeydukes! And I'd love to go for a butterbeer in the Three Broomsticks. Care to meet up there next weekend? I'll wait for you outside Zonko's 😉

There are a lot of excellent ideas for a day away! Hogsmeade would be good, the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland, the world from Avatar (though I'm not sure that was adapted from a book), Narnia and so many more. It would be nice to be able to hop from one to the next.
Thanks for visiting today. Welcome to the hop!

Glad to hear you're joining the Hop!
I picked Harry Potter, too, specifically Diagon Alley. Hogsmeade is a really great choice, though.
I like the deviousness of your plan. "Oh, me? I'm just going to Hogsmeade." *checks to see that no one's looking* *clambers through tunnel to Hogwarts*

Wow, lot of Harry Potter choices this week 🙂 Thanks for commenting – between your Hogsmead and my Ankh Morpork, we covered two of our favorite fictional places 🙂

I chose the same. I'd love to visit Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, Hogwarts… I'm going to King's Cross in a few weeks so my dream of visiting Platform 9 3/4 will have come true! *cheers*
Have a great weekend!

I’ve seen a lot of great picks and gathered some fresh titles to add to my ever-growing TBR list. My answer will probably stun most people because the world I picked is a place most people would be scared to death of and try to escape from. Me? I want in.
